Athletics
We take part in the West Glamorgan Primary Schools' Indoor Athletics League. Two of our children, Kristian Sully and Moinul Islam, qualified for individual finals. Kristian ran in the 500m final and competed in the long jump, winning silver and bronze medals. Moinul ran the 100m and competed in the shot, winning both events.
Several children qualified for the county outdoor championship. Karly Morgan ran in the 800m final, Kristian Sully ran in the 800m and competed in the long jump, Moinul Islam ran in the 100m and competed in the shot. Moinul and Kristian were joined by Robbie Brewer and Ashley Armstrong in the 100m relay. Nadine Dennis qualified for the high jump and Bradley Thomas of Year 3 also qualified for the sprint. Moinul, Kristian and the relay team won their events and were selected for West Glamorgan.
